Girbau UK Recruiting Service Engineers as Business Grows

Girbau UK is recruiting experienced OPL or Industrial laundry service engineers due to the company’s continuing expansion.
As part of its recruitment drive, Girbau UK is offering a £20 cash reward* to individuals submitting their CV via the company’s website, provided they have at least two years relevant experience and meet the company’s requirements.
Peter Marsh, managing director of Girbau UK said: “Our ideal candidates will have knowledge of all major manufacturers’ machines and already be working within the industry. Where necessary we will give additional training and we are offering an excellent remuneration package to successful applicants.”

Tawnylodge Nursing Homes Chooses Girbau Laundry for Reliability

Looking for reliable, energy efficient laundry equipment, Tawnylodge nursing homes in the East Midlands has installed a total of four Girbau HS-6013 washer-extractors. These have proved to be exceptionally low maintenance and a huge improvement over the ageing equipment they replaced.

As Sales Grow Girbau UK Appoints New Area Sales Manager

Girbau UK has announced the appointment of John Howe as area sales manager for the southern region of its commercial division.
John Howe has many years' experience of meeting customers' laundry equipment needs in the care and nursing, hotel and leisure, educational and equestrian sectors, most recently as sales manager at Sussex-based laundry supplier Allsop and Francis. He will cover an area that includes South London, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.

Girbau UK Displays Energy Efficient Laundry Equipment at Bournemouth Care Show

Girbau UK is to show its latest range of energy efficient washers, dryers and ironers on stand W53 at the Care Show, 30-31 March 2010, BIC Bournemouth.
Girbau’s most energy efficient washers ever, the latest 6 series is available in seven models with capacities ranging from 9kg upwards. The 9kg model (HS-6008) has already been named the most energy-efficient in its class, according to US body Energy Star. Tests carried out by Energy Star showed the HS-6008 washer uses far less water and electricity than the machines of other manufacturers.

The Industrial division of Girbau UK has launched the new PC-120 flatwork ironer. The energy efficient, high productivity ironer comes complete with Girbau's latest generation Inteli programmer designed to offer finely adjustable control and intuitive operation.
Built with one, two or three 1200mm diameter cylinders and a working width of between three and 3.5 metres, the Girbau PC-120 flatwork ironer is available in steam and hot oil-heated versions or with an integral gas-fired boiler. (Gas-fired versions are only available with one or two cylinders). High productivity of up to 45 metres per minute comes with no sacrifice to ironing quality as the ironer delivers consistent results day-in day-out.

Girbau PSP Ironer Saves the Day at St James's Laundry

New Easy Load Feature Offers Higher Laundry Productivity

Girbau UK’s Industrial Division has announced the addition of a new Easy Load option, which makes it even easier to load and unload its two largest high productivity washers: the HS-6057 (57kg) and HS-6110 (110kg) in its 6 Series range.
A further example of how Girbau is continually innovating in response to changing customer needs, the optional Easy Load function is cost effective and alternative to the company's pneumatic TILT system. Easy Load performs two operations that help compact a load and increase capacity. It opens one of the machine's two water inlets to moisten laundry, compacting it and eliminating air gaps. Then with the door open, the operator can rotate the drum slowly in both directions to help water to penetrate into the fabric.

Norbreck Castle Hotel Cuts Laundry Drying Bills by 21%

Cedars Hotel Upgrades to Girbau Washers and Dryers

When old laundry equipment at the independent 25-room Cedars Hotel in Suffolk had become outdated, unreliable and was in need of replacement, the management turned to Girbau UK to re-equip the entire laundry with newer, more energy efficient machines.
